Production Company Placement
I completed a placement with Belfast based production company Strident Media. I worked on various projects and received credits on two programmes of note.
RTE: Bog Amach
Property series about people looking to relocate from cities to the countryside.
Office Role:
-Transcribed interviews & logged rushes during post production.
-Identified key footage & interview sync for editors.
Out on Shoot:
- Drove crew/contributors to various shoot locations across Ireland.
-Helped crew with various tasks on set (data wrangling, getting consent forms for filming, setting up equipment, booking dinner).
-Gained key insight into how TV (following shooting scripts, getting enough "coverage" etc.)
BBC: One Lady Owner!
Part of the True North series, showcasing females involved in the NI car & drift scene.
Office Role:
-Complied a list of suitable music and artists that would be for the programme.
-Transcribed interviews & logged rushes during post production.
Out on Shoot:
- Drove crew to various dirft events where shooting was done.
-Watched for possible health and safety issues (dangerous filming scenario with fast moving vehicles).
-Helped crew with data wrangling & consent forms.
